The annual Truck Roadeo saw employees from local road department’s across the Waterloo Region compete against one another.
The event saw competitors face off in a range of challenges.
They would face off against drivers from the Cities of Kitchener and Waterloo, as well as the Townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot, Woolwich and the Region of Waterloo.
Waterloo Region’ 2026 Roadeo winners and hosts, courtesy of the Region of WaterlooWayne Wideman from Waterloo was the winner of the event, while Dannis Jantzi from Kitchener took second place.
With their win, they will to move on to the AORS Provincial Roadeo in Owen Sound, set for September.
