Amid looming annexation threats, the Greenland government has sent out a "strong warning" to a Trump-linked American firm hoping to drill for oil. The Greenland government hit out at the allegedly Trump-aligned oil company planning to drill for oil on the autonomous territory without approval. "The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources notes that the licence holder did not have the necessary approvals from the mineral resources authority in place before commencing this operation," it said. This comes amid ongoing annexation threats from Trump, who argues possession of Greenland is strategically key to global security. TV personality Dr Phil, a Trump ally, has reportedly been recruited to contribute a documentary about the drilling mission on Greenland.
