These include The Castle in Dudley, the Greenlands in Redditch, and Stourbridge venues the Ashwood Inn and Jolly Crispin, which are taking part in the scheme run by Proper Pubs. The local winners will receive a certificate and a bottle of fizz. Three winners from across the Proper Pubs network will then receive £1,000 for a charity or community group of their choice. Awards events for local and national winners will take place during the week beginning November 23 at their local pub. Proper Pubs, part of Admiral Taverns, operates more than 220 community pubs across England, Scotland and Wales.
