Smiling Jack’s Golf Society enjoyed another excellent—and extremely hot—day at the impressive New Sierra Golf Resort. Several of our new members produced some excellent golf, but the star of the day was Les Christie, who mastered both the course and the heat to claim victory. Our thanks go to everyone at New Sierra Golf for looking after us and presenting the course in very good condition. Will Dowling claimed the famous Dino Dick award, but his day improved considerably when he also won the raffle prize—a free round of golf with Smiling Jack’s, generously provided by Ger.
