The full July meeting heard from Mark Earp and his talk on the Isle of Wight in TV and films. They were supporting WI members who were taking part in the concert as part of the Bay Wailers. Around 20 members staffed one of the entrance gates over the two days of the Royal Isle of Wight County Show. Summer dresses and sunhats were the order of the day for socialising over drinks on the patio followed by afternoon tea in the dining room. Although it was hot, members still found the energy to dance and sing along to Bertie and Bob Everson, the entertainers.
