Ella Furnell, 24, of Colenutts Road in Ryde, appeared before the IW Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 4, for sentencing after previously pleading guilty to drink-driving. The Ford Fiesta she had been driving overturned and came to rest in a ditch, with members of the public alerting police. The court heard Furnell had previously been disqualified from driving for 17 months in November 2024 after another drink-drive crash on Great Preston Road.
