Several projects have been, or will be, put into motion at Washington schools as the district continues to renovate its athletic facilities. Projects in the last year include the resurfacing of the track at Case Field and the renovation of the North Gym. The biggest ongoing project will be the construction of the fieldhouse, an indoor facility that will be built south of the softball fields on Sitler Drive. We’re looking into some grants, we’ve got a fundraising committee… It’s an exciting and amazing project with countless opportunities there to support our community.” The fieldhouse is a planned 103,000 square foot facility that will house several amenities, benefiting several Demon athletic programs including football, soccer, baseball, softball, and more.
