Cherise Plant and her three children, who live in Felixstowe, had to cut short their first family holiday due to a blocked drain pushing raw sewage into their home. The sewage began spilling into the bathroom, contaminating carpets, belongings, and coats stored in the hallway cupboard. Friends caring for the family’s pets informed them while they were away that sewage was coming up through the bathtub.
