Whether country dancing in the Market Place or roller skating around the Corn Hall in 1913, Ciren folk always loved dancing. By the 1970s, I was jiving at the Stax Club in that same building. I was not born in 1913, but I do remember Lewis Lane School playground allowing skates briefly. We made the best of that tarmac.
