Though this hurricane season is expected to bring fewer tropical systems to the region, the mix of frequent afternoon thunderstorms and any tropical moisture that does arrive could still provide meaningful rainfall. The outlook favors improving conditions across much of the Carolinas through the rest of summer and into fall.
