1 extricated after crash on John Wayne ParkwayA driver was pulled from a vehicle following a crash on John Wayne Parkway and Hathaway Ave. this afternoon. The two-vehicle collision occurred around 1:55 p.m. after one driver failed to yield to traffic while making a left-hand turn, said a police spokesperson. A tan-colored sedan with front driver-side damage and a maroon pickup truck were seen in front of a light pole on the southwest corner of the intersection. The sedan driver was extricated and transported to the hospital for minor injuries, said a police spokesperson. The pickup driver was not injured.
