(Submitted)The Hispanic Community Alliance of Bowling Green, Inc. will host its inaugural, free Latin American and Caribbean Festival from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 12 at Lampkin Park — located at 938 Morgantown Road in Bowling Green. The Hispanic Community Alliance is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting, empowering and celebrating Hispanic and Latino communities in Bowling Green and Southcentral Kentucky. Tarsis Hicks, founder and president of the Hispanic Community Alliance, said the Latin American and Caribbean Festival will be the organization’s first event. The family-friendly festival will feature live music, traditional dance performances, authentic Latin American and Caribbean food, local vendors, cultural exhibits, children’s activities and community resources.
