Vertu appoints Durham BMW chiefMotor retailer Vertu has appointed John Curry as head of business at its BMW dealership in Durham. John joins the dealership after serving as general manager at Vertu Hyundai Peterlee, where he led the site to become Hyundai's top-performing UK retail dealership in 2021. In his new role, John will oversee the day-to-day operations of Vertu BMW Durham, reporting to BMW franchise director Andy Verrall. John said: “I’m delighted to take up the role of Head of Business at Vertu BMW Durham, and to renew my relationship with the brand. Vertu acquired its Durham BMW dealership in 2020 and said John’s appointment reflects its continued focus on delivering strong operational performance and customer service across its retail network.
