As another school year begins Monday, the Sun sat down with Stephanie Kirby, the school’s executive director, to learn what sets Southern Nevada Trades High School — known as SNTHS — apart.
The difference with Southern Nevada Trades High School is in our elective courses — instead of having options such as music or art, students all take construction-focused electives.
As a free public charter school, SNTHS does not have requirements beyond being a student prepared to enter high school, or already in high school and reside in the Las Vegas valley.
