The free workshop, taking place beside the centre’s beach attraction on Tuesday, August 11, will be led by Bristol mural artists Sophie and Rob Wheeler. Visitors will be invited to get hands-on with spray-paint-style art and design personalised boards as part of the centre’s programme of school-holiday activities. Graft Community CIC is a Bristol-based, not-for-profit collective which works with communities to create murals and public artwork. Yate Shopping Centre will be making a donation to Graft Community CIC to support its continuing work using art to encourage creativity, connection, and community engagement. It forms part of the centre’s summer programme, which includes beach-based activities and creative workshops throughout the school holidays.
