In another move, Bracknell Forest Borough Council has announced the temporary closure of College Road, Bracknell, and Rectory Lane, Bracknell, to carry out carriageway patching. The road closure will come into effect on August 27 and is expected to remain in place until 2.30pm the same day. College Road will be closed between Reeds Hill and Spinner Green, while Rectory Lane will be closed between Pond Moor Road and the junction with Crowthorne Road. The diversion route for College Road will be via Crowthorne Road, Wildridings Road, and Crowthorne Road, while the Rectory Lane diversion will be via Reeds Hill, South Hill Road, A322 Bagshot Road, and Rectory Lane. The ban covers similar activities as those in the Last Mile Water ban.
