Cala Homes (Thames) has donated £1,000 to St Michael’s Primary School in Ascot, helping to fund the refurbishment of its outdated toilets. Matt Thompson, headteacher at St Michael’s Primary School, said: "School funding is becoming increasingly challenging every year, and without Cala’s support our already difficult financial situation may have been even worse. "Their donation has helped us meet our contribution to this essential project, and we’re extremely grateful for their commitment to our school community." Sid Bhamra, sales and marketing manager at Cala Thames, said: "St Michael’s Primary School plays an important role locally, and we know how challenging it can be for schools to fund essential improvements." Cala’s support for St Michael’s forms part of its wider Community Pledge activity across the region.
