OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – Some strong showers and storms have made their way through mainly central and northern portions of the area today. We had a Flash Flood Warning and Flood Advisory with the evening storms, and a Special Weather Statement with the later storms. As we start the weekend, patchy fog is possible, particularly in places that picked up rain tonight. Temperatures will start in the mid-60s and rise fairly quickly into the lower 80s by the afternoon. We’ll once again see some strong storms at times, but as has been the case recently, the main threat will be flooding.
