Tom Scott, who has more than six million subscribers and is known for exploring unusual locations visited Hereford Cathedral’s chained library. The trip was part of a wider journey to film one video in each of the counties of the United Kingdom. Mr Scott said this was partly because of editing decisions and partly due to lighting issues inside the room. He said: "One of the reasons I wanted to make the England series was so that I could actually see all of the country that I've spent most of my life in. Mr Scott described the series as an opportunity to tell longer, more exploratory stories than his previous work allowed.
