Plans to convert agricultural land approved
[]
St Helens Star | News
An application proposing the change of use of the land at Lea Green Business Park, Eurolink, Sutton Manor – from agricultural use to industrial use, with hardstanding for adjacent industrial units – has been approved subject to conditions.
The industrial estate is located to the eastern side of St Helens Linkway, which provides a ‘gateway corridor’ to St Helens town centre from the M62 motorway.
It adds: “This application seeks planning permission for the change of use of land from agricultural use to industrial use with hardstanding for adjacent industrial units.
“The proposed development comprises of the clearance of the existing grassland and self-seed trees to allow for the extension of hardstanding within the Eurolink Industrial Estate.
These trees are positioned on neighbouring land and will provide screening to the site along Lea Green Road.”
