The Caring Connections Academy, launched by Warrington charity Caring Connections, is a fully funded scheme open to anyone aged 16 and over who is interested in working in social care. Paul Growney, chief executive officer of Caring Connections, said: "We are incredibly proud to launch the Caring Connections Academy. The social care sector currently employs around 1.6 million people across England and remains one of the UK’s largest employment areas. Caring Connections is currently inviting expressions of interest from prospective participants ahead of the programme’s launch.
