The circuit - known as a pump track - is being built at the Meadows play area in Mulbarton by Four One Four, a specialist skatepark designer. A pump track is a looped route of rollers and banked turns where riders generate momentum by pumping their body up and down to move through the course. Mulbarton Parish Council is hoping the track will be open to the public on August 14 if it passes a safety inspection carried out by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. A spokesman from Mulbarton Parish Council said: "The track will be surrounded by grass, which will be laid at a later date due to the hosepipe ban. New swings and a seesaw will be added after the pump track is finished, with more details to follow from Mulbarton Parish Council.
