Something beautiful is here: a new podcast series devoted to the ways in which poetry in all its forms — traditional, yes, but also music, theatre, poetry in nature, in relationships, and beyond — can make life more beautiful. You Could Make This Beautiful is hosted by Maggie Smith, the poet behind the virally famous "Good Bones," and Faith Salie, panelist on NPR's Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! In this first episode, actor Henry Winkler tells Maggie and Faith about the poetry he's found in everything from fly fishing, to the music of Lin-Manuel Miranda, to the acting performances of the late Robin Williams. And Maggie and Faith offer a "poetry prescription" to a fan of theirs in Ohio who's seeking steadiness in her life. All three episodes of You Could Make This Beautiful are out now and can be heard HERE.
