CHAKRABARTI: For generations, the single-family rental business had been dominated by local landlords who owned a handful of properties.
By 2022, large investors controlled 18% of single-family rental homes in Charlotte, North Carolina, 21% in Jacksonville, Florida, and 25% of Atlanta.
CHAKRABARTI: So describe a little bit what the rental housing market is like in College Park.
