The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety, in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the 1956 Women’s March to the Union Buildings, has launched a month-long programme of High Impact Women-led joint operations across the province. The Kranskop operation ran from 07h00 to 11h00 and brought together a multi-disciplinary team of women leading from the front. Hundreds of vehicles were stopped and checked, with a number of motorists issued with traffic fines for various traffic offences.
