Lang8/8/26The suspect in April’s Ped Mall shooting that left five people injured has pleaded not guilty in a separate burglary case.
Jones is also accused in a series of car break-ins at the Hawks Ridge Apartments on January 16th.
According to court records, Jones and four others were in the underground garage at approximately 4:37am and entered multiple vehicles.
If convicted on a 3rd degree burglary charge, Jones could be sentenced to up to two years in jail.
He already faces a sentence of up to 170 years in prison if convicted on five counts of attempted murder, three counts of willful injury causing serious injury, two counts of willful injury causing bodily injury, and one count of going armed with intent related to the Ped Mall shooting.
