Long-time entreprenuer Wayne Thompson officially released “Cooks of the Buffalo: The Official Cookbook of the Buffalo River”. Thompson, who has been in the north central Arkansas region for more than 50 years, says the book is about the people he has known through the years, while working near the Buffalo River. Later on Thompson started getting recipes for all kinds of dishes like squirrel and dumplins, and chess pie.
