A Mountain View man was killed when his truck left the roadway and struck a culvert. The Arkansas State Police (ASP) identified the victim as 44-year-old Michael Jackson. A passenger in Jackson’s vehicle, 27-year-old Gage Browder of Mountain View, was injured and taken to White River Medical Center in Batesville for treatment. According to the ASP crash report, after Jackson’s vehicle hit the culvert, it overturned. The accident happened Monday evening at 5:35 on Arkansas State Highway 25 at the intersection with Greenbrier Farm Road in Independence County.
