I visited Witham's Crafty Bear Kitchen, a pottery painting cafe and tearoom that has quietly built an impressive reputation - even winning Braintree Council’s Christmas window display competition three years in a row. I opted for the venue’s 'crafternoon tea' experience, which combines pottery painting with a traditional afternoon tea.
