Minority admissions are up across UC system, but not Berkeley. Its student paper is worried.

According to the its student paper The Daily Californian, minority applicants have been “hit hardest” by the school’s increasingly selective admissions.
The paper reports a “record-breaking” 251,907 people applied to UC Berkeley for the coming year, but only 10.5 percent were admitted.
In addition, UC Berkeley admits more international students than other UC schools.
JB Pritzker, told the paper UC Berkeley’s enrollment figures are “a deep concern.”
