If you plan on attending any athletic events at Nacogdoches High School this year, you should be aware of a couple of new policies that the district has put in place. As you can see, this doesn't just apply to the football stadium, it will be active for all athletic events held on the Nacogdoches ISD campus. In addition to the clear bag policy, the district is also installing a weapons detection system. Fans must successfully pass through the detection system before being allowed to enter Dragon Stadium. Items that will set off this detection system include "guns and large knives, other large items similar to binders, laptops, umbrellas and eye glass cases."
