Pending: A coffee shop near Windsor and Eton Central Station which creates a ‘visual and physical bottleneck’ could be demolished. Windsor and Eton Central Station is a Grade II-listed building which was built in 1849 and opened by 1850. But a listed building application has now been submitted to the Royal Borough, seeking permission to demolish it. The Caffé Nero kiosk ‘creates a physical and visual bottleneck ’, the plans, submitted by applicant company AEW UK, said. There is no off-street parking proposed because the building is in the heart of Windsor with shops, bus stops and Windsor and Eton Central Station nearby, the application said.
