Recent figures from Lloyds show that in July, average property prices in Wales reached £231,458, reflecting a 1.6 per cent increase compared to the previous year.
The UK-wide market also showed little change, with the average house price at £299,253 - up just 0.1 per cent annually.
"Looking ahead, we expect market activity and house prices to remain relatively stable over the remainder of the year.
Northern Ireland saw the highest annual growth at 7.4 per cent, with average prices reaching £231,131.
In England, the North East and North West saw annual growth of 2.8 per cent and 2.1 per cent respectively.
