CM Selected for $322M Cleveland Clinic Hospital Expansion

Gilbane Building has been selected as construction manager for the $322-million expansion of Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital and the Richard E. Jacobs Health Center in Avon, Ohio.
The project, which broke ground July 30, is designed by HKS in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic Buildings + Design and clinical stakeholders and is expected to be completed in 2029.
The expansion is planned to add approximately 250,000 sq ft of clinical space across the hospital and health center.

Since 2017, Avon Hospital has recorded more than a 40% increase in surgeries and admissions and nearly a 75% increase in imaging services.
