Elvis Costello will release a five-disc box set of his 1977 debut album My Aim Is True on Oct. 2. The set includes a new 2026 remaster from the original analog tapes, and UMe will distribute it. Becoming The Attractions opens with a solo performance of "Alison" and includes live material from 1977 and 1978. Nick Lowe produced the original album over four six-hour sessions at Pathway Studios in London, between late 1976 and early 1977. The box set includes 72 pages of essays from contributors including Rosanne Cash, Peter Wolf, Jim James, and Warren Zanes.
