The Bonnie Kate Theater will turn moviegoing into community giving this fall with the launch of Movies with a Mission, a fundraising film series benefiting three local nonprofit organizations. The series will raise money for the Elizabethton Senior Center, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elizabethton/Carter County and the Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter. The series concludes Saturday, Sept. 19, with a 2 p.m. screening of Balto benefiting the Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter.
