The annual St. Margaret Mary Parish Festival of Friendship opened Friday evening and will continue Saturday evening. The festival is being held 5 to 9 p.m. both days on the parish grounds, at 3055 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell. The 56 East Band was scheduled to play Friday and the Mikey Dee Polka Band will entertain from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The festival features food trucks, bingo (indoors), a basket raffle, children’s activities and rides and a bake sale.
