One hundred years ago, her celebrated and seminal novel “The Murder of Roger Ackroyd” was published in the United Kingdom. And, kicking off with a sold-out Friday night performance, Kinetic Theatre’s production of the play will run at the Carnegie Stage in Carnegie through Aug. 30. “The Murder of Roger Ackroyd” is gripping from start to finish, crackling under the lights in the intimate Carnegie Stage space. Later that day, he is summoned to the wealthiest home in town, owned by his friend Roger Ackroyd (Darren Eliker). Kinetic Theatre’s “The Murder of Roger Ackroyd” runs through Aug. 30 at the Carnegie Stage in Carnegie.
