It was the first year of the Vermont Institute of Natural Science’s Eagle Cam, which officially went live in March.
Alden took time last week to reflect on the first year of the Eagle Cam and the organization’s plans for next year.
Windsor and Dewey watch over their eaglet, V-2, at the VINS Eagle Cam nest — 100 feet up a white pine overlooking Dewey’s Pond in Quechee, Vermont.
“The only thing that has substantially changed is the nest cam,” Smith said about the increase in donors.
While many viewers were (understandably) focused on V-2, Smith often found his attention turning to Windsor and Dewey.
