Ministry of Transportation and Transit is warning drivers of traffic delays along a major road on Salt Spring Island. Single-lane-alternating traffic is planned for Fulford-Ganges Road between Cranberry Road and Seaview Avenue from Aug. 10 to Aug. 12, and from Aug. 17 to Aug. 18. During those days, single-lane-alternating traffic will be in place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. “While much of the work will be done on the side of the road, single-lane-alternating traffic will be required for safety reasons.” The intersection of Fulford-Ganges Road & Cranberry Road is shown below:The ministry of transportation says drivers should expect delays of approximately five to 10 minutes.
