MultiChoice has confirmed that it is cutting M-Net Movies 1, Mzansi Bioskop, kykNET Lekker and Mzansi Music channels from DStv, citing an ongoing review of its portfolio of channels. 4 DStv channels cannedM-Net Movies 1 (DStv 104) launched as M-Net Magic in 1995 and assumed its current name in 2005. Mzansi Bioskop (DStv 164) launched in 2013, Mzansi Music (DStv 321) in 2012 and kykNET Lekker (DStv 148) in March 2020. SuperSport channel name changesAdditionally, MultiChoice is renaming some SuperSport channels from 19 August 2026. Canal+'s @canalplus @DStv is dumping @MNet's Mzansi Bioskop (DStv 164) and Mzansi Music (DStv 321) channels both on 16 September, and I'm told more channel cuts are coming.
