IMT Editor Terence Cosgrave will be on hand to present the Cup and prizes to the golfers on the day. Today, St Patrick’s Mental Health Services is Ireland’s largest independent not-for-profit mental healthcare provider, employing more than 700 people and operating inpatient, outpatient, adolescent, homecare and community services. Three centuries later, the institution he founded is still built around a surprisingly modern idea: that people experiencing mental health difficulties should be treated with dignity, compassion and respect. The campaign also has the backing of Lesley Ryan, grandmother of Clodagh Parkinson, whose family is supported by Jack and Jill. The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation provides in-home nursing care, respite and advocacy for children with highly complex medical and developmental needs.
