The event featured the presence of Culture Minister Alpidio Alonso and UNEAC President Marta Bonet, alongside numerous artists. The regime's priorities were starkly highlighted: lacking electricity, water, and food, yet hosting an art exhibit dedicated to the "Commander in Chief." The exhibition will also coincide with UNEAC's 65th anniversary celebration, scheduled between August 17 and 22, and the first International Colloquium "Fidel: Legacy and Future," planned for this month at Havana's Convention Palace. Meanwhile, at Villa Manuela Gallery, well-lit spotlights and paintings dedicated to Fidel await visitors.
