Shops and businesses across New Milton are showcasing works by over 100 local artists in the town’s inaugural Arts Trail. Organised by the Friends of New Milton Station (FNMS), the project launched at the railway station on Saturday and runs until Saturday 15th August. A special map designed by artist Debbie Chinchen, who also created the Arts Trail logo, guides walkers around the displays. A schools exhibition on the south side of the station is showcasing artwork by 30 students from across six local schools. Trail maps are available at participating venues or at newmilton.org.uk/arts-trail where feedback and ideas for next year can be left.
