The Game of Thrones world hasn't felt this good a place to hang since, like, season five of the original run. Game of Thrones: Aegon's Conquest is set to throw it all the way back to the ancient — yes, more ancient than Dragon and Thrones — tale of how a particularly brutish Targaryen king invaded, and forcefully united, the Seven Kingdoms. Most Thrones geeks will probably tell you that the conquest is one of the biggest events referenced, but not yet depicted, in the franchise. For one, it's the whole reason that the Seven Kingdoms exists in the first place, ushering in almost three centuries of Targaryen rule. Needless to say, the big-screen future of Game of Thrones is in good hands.
