The southbound off-slip of the A34 has been closed to traffic getting on at Lodge Hill coming from the Oxford direction since July 6. Workmen will manage the traffic on the lane closure between the southbound off-slip and Oxford Road to "monitor traffic flows", Oxfordshire County Council said. Oxfordshire County Council said: "Traffic travelling south towards Abingdon will move onto the southern arm of the newly constructed south roundabout. "Vehicles exiting the A34 via the existing southbound off-slip must give way to traffic coming from the right. In the autumn, workmen will continue with the construction of the southern roundabout western section and the A34 southbound on slip.
