The event, held at Nelson Ghausia Masjid, was organised by Dockray Events & Management and brought together non-faith community members. Guests included representatives from Pendle Lancashire Fire Service, Pendle Lancashire Constabulary, Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw, former Pendle MP Andrew Stephenson, Pendle mayor Nadeem Ahmed, and Lancashire County Council opposition leader Azhar Ali. He also highlighted the importance of the mosque’s history and the way it set a foundation for future community centres.
