The photos were shared on Facebook on Thursday, August 6, 2026, by a user identified as Naomi, who alleged that the elderly man was responsible for the death of her brother and other people in the community.
Reacting to the post, Emmanuel highlighted what he described as the harsh reality of poverty in Tiv society, arguing that elderly parents are less likely to face accusations of witchcraft when they have wealthy children living in the cities.
“In Tiv society, parents who have rich kids in the city are not tagged witches and wizards.
