Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has approved a performance bonus equal to one month of basic salary for its employees, marking the first major decision by the airlines new private management. The approval came during the 102nd board of directors meeting held on Friday, the first such meeting since the transition to private management. The board of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Ltd (PIACL) confirmed the bonus for all airline staff. Management said the move is intended to recognise staff dedication while motivating teams ahead of upcoming operational milestones, route revivals, and service improvements. The chairman of the board said the workforce forms the backbone of PIACLs revival.
