The church, built in 1911, with a site area of approximately 2,104.37 square metres, will be altered both inside and out.
The decision was made on July 31, and planning documents reveal a sensitive approach to the building's historical character and layout.
The main nave will be converted into a family room, while the existing flat-roofed extension will form the kitchen.
Three bedrooms will be created within the north aisle, and office space and further accommodation will be provided in the church tower.
The plan is viewed as a way to secure the building’s long-term future while respecting its historic character.
